The student can communicate simply by giving directions and can define shapes, sizes, and colors. They also learn to make simple inquiries in both speaking and writing. The four modules for each level are reading, writing, listening, and speaking. The elementary Level (A1) requires approximately 70 hours or 6 weeks to complete.
BASIC LEVEL (A2)
The course aims to help students achieve a Pre-Intermediate level of English proficiency over 80 hours (approximately 7 weeks). By the end of the course, the students should be able to understand simple sentences and commonly used expressions related to their circumstances, such as personal information, family, shopping, work, and surroundings. They should also be able to communicate effectively in routine situations, exchange information on familiar topics, and discuss simple subjects like population, news, and radio programs. Additionally, students will have studied various grammar lessons, including the perfect tense, nominative, genitive, dative, accusative, adjective declension, subordinate clauses, direct and indirect subordinate clauses, and prepositions.
LOWER INTERMEDIATE LEVEL( B1)
At the B1 intermediate level, the student will have a good understanding of the German language when clear, standard language is used, with a focus on familiar topics such as work, school, and leisure time. They will be able to handle most of the situations encountered in day-to-day life and can express themselves clearly when reporting or describing experiences and events. Additionally, they will have a good command of the essentials of German grammar, including all tense forms, the present and imperfect subjunctive, passive voice, adjective declension, subordinate clauses, and sentence structure. This level typically requires around 100 hours of study or approximately 9 weeks.
UPPER INTERMEDIATE LEVEL (B2)
At the Pre-Advanced level, students will have the ability to comprehend the main contents of complex texts on both concrete and abstract topics. They will also be able to understand specialized discussions in their primary area of specialization. Students will be able to communicate spontaneously and fluently in a way that enables them to have normal conversations with native speakers with ease. They will be able to express themselves on a wide range of topics in a clear and detailed manner, explaining their points on current issues and indicating the benefits and drawbacks of various options. Upon completion of this level, students will have learned how to express themselves fluently on a variety of difficult topics without preparation. They will be able to express their opinions, state their views, discuss, analyze, and interpret texts, as well as summarize them. They will also be able to write detailed texts on a wide range of subjects, giving the advantages and disadvantages of each. The basic grammatical structures will be revised again and consolidated at an intermediate level. All tense forms, and all applications of the Present and Imperfect Subjunctive, Subordination, Participle Constructions, and Prepositions will be learned at this level. The duration of this course is approximately 14 weeks or 150 hours.
ADVANCED LEVEL (C1)
This text describes the skills and abilities of a person who has completed the C1 level of German language proficiency. At this level, the person can understand complex, lengthy texts, including implicit meanings. They can speak and write fluently and effectively, without frequent pauses or searching for words. They can use the language confidently in both social and professional contexts and can make clear and detailed statements on complex topics. Completing the C1 level means that the person has a strong command of the German language, and can express themselves verbally and in writing on a wide range of demanding topics. This level typically requires approximately 250 hours of study, which is roughly 20 weeks.
MASTERY LEVEL (C2)
The student has a remarkable ability to comprehend everything he reads or hears. He can easily summarize information from various written and spoken sources, logically recounting the reasons and explanations. He is proficient in expressing himself spontaneously with high fluency and precision, and he can also clarify finer nuances of meaning in more complex topics. As a result, the student has attained mastery of the language.
